Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I have it on good authority that Celeborn does that chore, along with pretty much everything else around their place. :) Hehehehe....somehow I get the feeling that Aragorn is headed down the same path. Everytime they argue about who's going to take Frodo to Rivendell, I keep expecting Aragorn to say: "Yes, dear. Okay, dear. Whatever you say, dear."

Well, how do you expect him to win ANY argument after PJ killed him and Arwen brought him back. Any time he starts to get "uppity", Arwen will just fire back at him and say "Hey buddy! If it wasn't for me, you'd be a pile of bones by the river right now!"

I won't tell her. She thinks I'm an orc because I told her I was going to Entmoot. And she'll be in seminary then. She doesn't seem to comprende that they probably won't let her out of her seminary training for Entmoot.

Speaking of previews, is it just me or were there an annoying amount of them before TTT? It seemed that way to me. We got the trailers for some real doozies; "Dumb and Dumberer", "A Man Apart", "Bruce Almighty". It is safe to say I won't be doing much movie going in the next few months except for more of TTT!

I hope you can make it! Start putting away a bit now, that is what I am doing. I never go on trips like this... Can't usually, with all my animals. But I have a year to talk a friend into staying at my house for a week.

I let Jr. know that there was no way I'd approve of him seeing that movie. The terms "blasphemy" and "heresy" come to mind...Yeah, along with 'brain dead'! I have to admit though, the dog on the potty had me laughing in spite of myself!
