The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Eat fishes Smeagol!

No, there is a lot of class and style in Hugh Grant's screen persona. That's the source of his appeal.
What made Rhett stylish and classy is that he told the truth and loved immensely.

*THUD* I was thinking more along the lines of *drool*, but I guess that's not very ladylike.
I didn't like MM (not gonna attempt the spelling) at first...first movie I ever saw him in was Contact, if that means anything to you. But I'm coming around. ;-)

This is really funny... and you really do have to click the "team new zealand" link to get the first video.
Tempers flare in ROTK Premiere Row.

On NZoom.com you can currently see two Realplayer video clips which show the interior of the contentious Embassy Theatre. "Capital Goaded over Premiere" is a short overview; the Holmes show's "Wellington in Danger of Losing Premiere" shows the mayors of Auckland and Wellington having a right stoush over it. For some reason you have to click on the Team NZ story to get the Premiere story. [More] The Wellington Mayor insists the theatre WILL be up to standard by December.

I'm on dial up and do not dare attempt streaming video links!
I'll try it later on Glen's PC. He's got DSL.

I thought that is where you got your name... Nah, it was my nickname stating when I was very young. It even preceeded Creedance Clearwater's song!

It cracks me up to listen to people with very proper English argue.

I ate 30lbs worth of those little powdered donuts when I was expecting JoshuaI only let our kids have those when we're on a long car trip; a treat, don'tcha know. They love the powdered sugar ones and the chocolate coated ones. We call them LARD BOMBS!

Okay, trying to post a picture... it isn't turning out. Can someone help poor Smeagol.

John Rhys-Davies is a SUAVE gentleman!!

It cracks me up to listen to people with very proper English argue. Did you see Gosford Park? Maggie Smith has some great lines in there. She says to an actor, "Tell us about your film (play?). None of us will see it..."

The newest heart throb.
