The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Any Alias watchers in the Hobbit Hole. It's my favorite show. Last night was the season finale. Fantastic! Anyone else see it?

We haven't heard from g'nad since he checked in last week.
To: carton253
He's an actor. Well...duh.....
To: 2Jedismom
Yes...I heard yesterday. He made it okay.
To: Overtaxed
Sorry... didn't mean to state the obvious.

Was he in anything that I'm likely to have heard about? :) I can't put a face to the name.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt.Nope, it seems pretty big in VA as well. ;^)
I'm taking Jacob to see X2 at 5:00 this afternoon. Tickets are only $4.00 for that show.

Let's see... 4 Weddings and a Funeral, The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain, Notting Hill, Two Weeks Notice, About a Boy, Desperate Measures...
I've seen him in some of these.
He's a very droll English actor... kinda cute...

Thanks for the filmology...
I saw Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes also. Again...he was a riot.
I like Leonardo (in the few things I saw him in)
But, I'm not a big Tom Cruise fan.

And do you know how many carbs are in SuziQ's? Unfortunately there are an overabundance of carbs in THIS SuziQ, but I don't think that's what you meant. What are 'Suzi Q's?
I haven't seen About a Boy, but I just put it on my Rental Queue, so I should get it in a couple of weeks cause it's about #8 on the list.
To: SuziQ
Suzi Q's are a Hostess snack cake. Two chocolate pieces of cake separated by a whole lot of cream filling.
I thought that is where you got your name...
I have eaten more than my fair share of Suzi Q's and somewhere in my thirties, they caught up with me.

Did I say this already? I ordered X-Men (1) from Netflix. It should be here in a day or so. We'll watch it and try to do X-Men 2 this weekend.
To: ksen; All
The options are either 1/6/04-1/12/04 (Tue-Mon), 1/7/04-1/13/04 (Wed-Tues), 1/8/04-1/14/04 (Thurs-Wed), or 1/9/04-1/15/04 (Fri-Thurs).
Good morning all! ksen did you get an adequate answer on this? I didn't know we had that many choices! - I thought they probably had specific blocks they rented for!
I don't really have a preference! I can do whatever is the most popular choice. I kindof like the idea of everyone arriving Friday (1/9/04-1/15/04 (Fri-Thurs)), so no one misses all the mania of meeting up for the first time, and then those of us who will be staying longer will do the extra stuff afterwards.
