Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Problem is all the "cute" things they teach him. I've had to resume visits to the chiropractor because everytime we drive under a bridge we all have to "duck." LOL! I know what you mean!

Okay, so we've got a time and a place (I'm okay with that weekend Sam). Now we just need to find someone respectable who can file the application (noting that some of us are admiting we don't fit that bill).

Looking at the address it would be about 20-25 minutes from my house and from the movie theatre. That's not too bad.
If everyone on Ruthy's list comes then the lodging should cost ($2,000 dep + 2,300 rent + 35 app fee = $4,335) about $111.16 for each person (I counted about 39 adults).
Not bad for a castle for a week, when you figure you'd probably spend at least $300 on a hotel room for the same amount of time.

The house is perfect!
Worse comes to worse, if folks really want their own space, they can always grab a hotel room nearby but the rental house will be the hang out zone! :)
I'm not picky about having my own room (haven't talked to Glen yet though), so I'd be happy crashing on a couch or in a sleeping bag!
I have to be close to the kitchen & the bar though! Gotta keep the Dwarves from ravaging the storeroom!

Jan 9.... There are 5 bedrooms Sam... I think that couples and families with little ones can claim the rooms.
