Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Snacks and Junk Food!

This is the complete contents of the next care packages to go out. The first picture shows all of the items, including the Slim Jims that were purchased earlier.

This second picture shows a little clearer what's included. Starting from the top, left and going down, is party mix hard candy, including butterscotches, a box of honey buns, rice crispy treats, sunflower seeds, moonpies, Twinkies, Quaker Oats breakfast square variety packs, fruit flavored bubble gum, atomic fireballs, regular flavored bubble gum, pecan pies and lemonade and ice tea pre-sweetened drink mix.

I'll send out an email with the financial details this evening after I rest a bit!

proglem here... plugged the laptop into the video in on the TV, and the audio into the receiver... got no picture or sound... it's playing on the computer screen though... anyone?... anyone... Beuller?....

I don't know if they pecan pies will travel well...but they were only a couple of bucks for 12 and I know some guys really like them.

The moonpies are in such a good box, that I'm just reinforcing it with some packagine tape and sticking my pre-printed priority label on it and sending it just the way it is! That should be pretty funny!
