The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Well, maybe that's not too bad. I will not be taking him for a ride on the bike considering the size though. It could get tricky. Don't want him to be blown off.
To: Wneighbor
I know, as a grown up, I can not have him in my living room forever I do not understand this. Someday, I hope to actually convince someone to date me!

Well okay then. Since we don't have time to get him to dwarf-moot, let me have him the first week in August and I'll take him to Kitty Hawk. It's the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brother's flight this December.

Don't want him to be blown off.where oh where can hair go with that one in her frodo dreams?

Someday, I hope to actually convince someone to date me! Sigh...like I said the other day...all the good men are either married or elves...
To: Corin Stormhands
Very well then.... Everyone who has special events this summer should book Frodo now so we can make his travel arrangements!

Someday, I hope to actually convince someone to date me! oh.
so you think maybe not having Flat Frodo in the living room helps? He's never been in my living room and I haven't had a date in years. And I've tried.
To: Corin Stormhands
Sigh...like I said the other day...all the good men are either married or elves... and you wonder why Hair, Dawntreader and I spend so much time swooning over elves. We are obviously of good enough moral fiber to stay away from married men. So what does that leave us?
To: HairOfTheDog
I'll need him by August 1st. Jr. and I will take him around the Outer Banks for a few days and can ship him out from there.
To: HairOfTheDog
I think I'm going to start working on graphics and design ideas for the page. Any further thoughts on a title?
There and Back Again
The Journeys of Frodo
Where's Waldo Frodo?
;-)
To: Corin Stormhands; HairOfTheDog
It might be easier on poor Frodo to photoshop him.
To: Corin Stormhands
I don't have a problem with your "or elves" part!
Get sexier than a brooding Mirkwood elf.

Alls I can say is that ya won't meet the man o' yer dreams hangin' out with the elves...
That's alls I can say.
To: HairOfTheDog
Very well then.... Everyone who has special events this summer should book Frodo now so we can make his travel arrangements! I can go anytime and get a photo near the ranch. Can't get close to the house of course. But, I can also get a photo in front of the bed and breakfast where Tony Blair & wife stayed. It's right across the street from my aunt's house. Perhaps you might like one by the Crawford city limits sign? I hate the thought of that. My kids went to school in the town that's their main football rival.
To: ecurbh
I vote for "There and Back Again"
To: Corin Stormhands; Dawntreader
LOL, here was one of the posts on DT's favorite DU thread about the pulling down of Saddam's statue:
"They should be arrested for 'statuatory[sic] rape.'"
Actually made me snicker. ;^)

But that takes the adventure out of physically taking him somewhere, in public, setting him up, photographing him there, signing the back with where he was and the date! That's the fun part! Can't duplicate that in photoshop!

It might be easier on poor Frodo to photoshop him. But then they say over at DU that it was all faked...
To: Wneighbor
You meant you can't get a picture of Frodo and Dubya?
