Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I had to tell them their behavior was ridiculous. It was.

"maybe he's more uncertain of his sexuality than he's let on...?"
He's probably just not "heterophobic." ;-)
To: HairOfTheDog
The last guy was not a frumpy fisher- type.Ohhh, no, he wasn't, was he? That was the one at last year's Oscar awards, or am I misremembering?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
"Had a nasty thought... maybe the guy in the pic is a "friend" of Sir Ian?"
...ACK!
To: Sam Cree
ACK!Sorry Sam!
Hope you're having a good evening otherwise! ;)
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Yes, evening OK, hope you are too.
Good night All.
To: Sam Cree
It's gone well enough, I suppose...
Good night! I'm off as well.

I'll check to see if TTT is still playing anywhere in Manchester.Well there is a Hoyt's Cinema in Manchester, unfortunately, TTT is no longer playing there. It is still showing at two places here in the Worcester Area, but only once a day, and that's at 9pm.
Looks like the NE mini-moot may not work out, but there's always Entmoot!!
To: SuziQ
Good night everyone. I'm exhausted. See you in the morning.

Yawn...g'mornin'...what's with all them red x-es you posted?
Couldn't make it here last night, Mrs. was on the computer when I got back from Jr's baseball practice and then Wal-mart. This "part-time" job of hers is startin' to piss me off...
Going now to see if it was MY behavior of which you spoke (baptism thread)...

Good Morning!

g'mornin' all...

How long is the bus ride from your place to Manchester?About four hours. But I checked and if I DID do something like that, I'd be stuck overnight unless we had a mini-mini-moot...the bus back leaves about an hour after the first one gets in! So scrap that idea! Reading further down, it sounds like we may not be mooting anyway...or at least not for a bit. Maybe by the time we do I'll have worked up more courage!

Good Morning!
Is it time for second breakfast yet? Hope Ruthy gets here before I try to get bacon from a cow!

Adorable pic.... Darn! These pictures showed up for me at home, but I'm not seeing 'em here! And I really liked this one! I'd like the guy on the right...but Alkin might beat me! Actually, Dom's not bad, either...he cracks me up! The two of them together are a hoot...
To: HairOfTheDog
Sean at the Oscars.. He looks great! (Going on memory here...all I get is a red X here at work...)
Isn't it great to have a few people who we can admire both as characters in the movie AND in their real lives? I usually try to separate movie characters from the actor that plays them, but it's a relief not to have to...there ARE people like Andy Serkis, Viggo, etc....but we also have John Rhys-Davies, Sean Astin...and I'd like to think Elijah Wood, too. At least the boy is smart enough to keep his mouth shut!
