AARGH! That's what I forgot to do today!! I was gonna post a Happy Birthday to W Neighbor!! I didn't think she was on this weekend, but still I just got busy and forgot! I'll do it next week when she's back!

Good morning, everyone! And I realized I forgot to tell WNeigbor "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" yesterday! Oops! So...happy birthday!!!
Hair, the kitty is very cute...looks like a cat my family has. Annie, her name is. She was abandoned at the barn near our house...for some reason some people seem to assume that barn = happy home for cats, and they used to dump kittens off there. My brother was working for the farmer at the time and brought her home. She was TINY, but ended up growing up to be a huge cat. She's great...funny, though. When you hold her, she wraps her front paws around your neck and hugs ya!
Well, another gig out of the way - we played our twenty minutes for that benefit concert last night. And guess what? One of the other musicians there is an up-and-coming children's entertainer...people call him "the chicken man" because the first song on his CD has kind of become his theme song. ;-) Anyway, he's recording another CD this summer or fall and asked us if we'd be interested in playing for a few tracks! We'll see if that works out, but...I think it'd be fun.
Also another guy was there who runs a campground in NH a little south of us. He does a series of summer evening concerts, sounded like, and he gave my brother his card and said to contact him. So maybe we're on our way!
Reading the news...can't believe it about that soldier that turned on his unit. That's just beyond my comprehension. If he gets off with a rap on the knuckles...
