Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Brian Williams is funny... He asked a question a while back something along the lines of... "So if they had intelligence that Saddam was at a stoplight at the corner of 'I love Saddam' and 'Saddam is Great Blvd' in a White Suburban .... could they get him?"
Paraphrasing, not an exact quote, but I thought it was cheeky phraseology!

Good evening! I'm so goofy with news overload (among other things) tonight that I almost forgot to respond to your post...
I think we have both Age of Kings and Age of Conquerors as well, but I'm not sure which versions. I need to dig out our install CDs and check... as well as install the games on my computer (new computer since I the last time I played...)
As for the new contract... well... it's a paycheck. I'm surviving the drive, but I'm not happy with it....

I like to think of the Hole as my safe place, where I can come when the world is coming apart....
As long as the world coming apart doesn't involve massive EMP bursts, of course.

I agree, the HH is fun, but comforting too, even a refuge when we need one.
