Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Visiting the library again. If things do not get better soon, I won't be online at Oscar time.
However, I expect that the Hollywood left will be so unpleasant on that occasion that there will be very many folks around the country more than willing to take on the job of bombing them!

Today was nice here! - I was able to take the heavy coats off the horses and let them run naked on the grass.... Course, all they wanted was a good backscratch!

Did you get home ok? Yes...made it home okay. There wasn't any ice on my roads but the trees were leaning over them pretty badly.
The radio was reporting ice not too far north of me and also in my county. They didn't say what part of my county and it looks like it was the western part. The trees are iced up. The power must have gone off at some point because all my clocks are flashing.

I'm logging off for the night. I'm feeling lots better and need to spend some time with the boys. Steve is going to work on his papers for a couple of hours only tonight, so he'll be home in time to see them before bed.
We're going to watch Spiderman!

Yes, FR is really slow. Our weather is pretty good, high today in the 80's, still a little cold for a swim, though.

Bear, my hair is (was) really long... I think that thing would just get tangled hopelessly to my head. It'd be brutal!
I cut off about 6 inches.... I think it is mostly straight.
