Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Thanks! You appear to be more up on the subject than I am, but it has been concerning me ever since the flame war thread. I think it is reasonable to try to find out what is really going on, so that is what I've been doing in my spare time...

But I do kind of feel like a mouse walking into a room full of giants over there.... Some of the Titans of FR, LOL!

I don't know. I guess they are giants in my mind because of a variety of reasons. Where and what I've seen them post, the "followings" they seem to have, or not have, the intensity of flames they seem to attract on occasion. FWIW the FReepers who I'm specifically referring to now are Sabertooth, Howlin, and TLBSHOW. But it's just a friendly discussion about Grover Norquist and his alleged ties to radical muslims.... Do you know anything about Grover?

Exactly right, Master Dwarf. White should NOT be worn before Memorial Day, with Easter, weddings, proms, or First Communion being the most common exceptions. White shoes are the major culprit here!
