Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hi, Overtaxed!
I am still not home, but in central VA. I am only about 70 miles from Corin, and tempted to look him up, except I am so busy. But I come to this part of VA pretty often, so, hopefully can connect pretty soon. If you guys have a moot, who knows, maybe I might show up, even.
Man, there is a lot of mud, and also ice here. Is that tree still in your driveway? Although, it makes a nice gate, maybe you could put hinges on it, and get a cave troll to open and close it.

What is a chuck taylor?...I am supposing it must be some kind of a shoe? She is my only daughter, so, probably, yes, she likes shoes, for sure.
It snows every day where she is. Near Lake Ontario. I always bring my sky chart when I visit her, as the sun, the moon and the stars rise anad set on her :-)

I just finished reading a chapter of Hardy Boys to the jedis...they are listening to the BBC version of LOTR now.

I pulled up beside this really deluxe H2 Hummer last night in my church parking lot. It belongs to the psychologist.

Ther's going to be more mud! It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Saturday.
Yes the tree is still on the driveway but it's at the bottom, not the top so it wouldn't keep Dimocrats out. The cats seem to like it though.

Oh yeah, I think she wears the same sneakers as you, at least they look just like them, red canvas things, like my brothers and I had back in the late 50's, when we were kids.
My son absolutely adored the Hardy Boys when he was younger, read most or all of them. These days, he is in Law school.

Evening all! Had a great hike today, but I'm starting to get a bit sore now. I guess I need to get back in shape. And I ordered a futon, so I'll be able to ditch the air mattress next week. Yippee!!
I've also updated The Hobbit Hole website some more. The major addition is the bad subtitles to the humor page. Only one more page to go (videos).
Having some Orange/Pineapple juice with Peach Schnapps now, and trying to catch up on the happennings of the day.

Hey Corin, I am often in Virginia, sometimes even in Richmond, wouldn't mind coming by and meeting you, or Mrs. and Jr., if ever it is convenient.
