Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

A liberal was telling me this week that the U.S. was morally equivalent to Iraq because we killed 1700 Somalians with bombs. Am pretty sure that he left something out here, but thought maybe you could tell me what.

What kind of cookie sheets are those? The burning of cookie bottoms is a sometime problem hereI bought them at the website for King Arthur Flour. They have some excellent kitchen tools; lots of baking stuff! Check the cookie sheets out Here I left a batch of Choc. Chip cookies in the oven too long once; remembered them about 15 minutes after baking time was done. The cookies were very brown, but they were NOT burned!

And you might also ask if that was before or after the Somalis shot down our helicopters and dragged our servicemen's bodies through the streets of Mogadishu! You could also suggest he watch "Blackhawk Down"!

The Somalia bombing was most likely the bombing ordered by X-42 in response to the US embassy bombing. Apparently it was an innocent target, but it was in response to an attack on us by AlQuaeda. You are right, the left always leaves something out, like the truth!

Apparently the Tulsa World put on it's front page or something a really biased article that was so misleading that the homeschool community has really mobilized. It was insulting, it was so full of error.
Anyway, people have been in an uproar ever since. We are especially wondering why? Why did they do this now? Because now we have a dim for a gov?

Where has g'nad gone??
Joshua has the routine ear infection. No appetite and lots of secretions (which would kill my appetite too, I guess.) I got him some better medicine to help with that, plus some Pediasure to boost his calories a bit.
Poor kid...he's miserable. Eyes water and nose runs and his nose is excoriated underneath from blowing so much. I got him some Puffs Plus too (with lotion built right in.)

I got two new whistles. Blackhawk sent me another McCollough Pigott Feadog, you know? And another Susato...this time a brown Dublin. My other is a black Kildare.
They are nice! I'm just waiting for my nickel Walton's now and the piccolo head...which I wonder if the guy forgot about?

Speaking of secretions....Miss Cat has diarrhea and vomits sometimes. The literature for Clavamox says it's a side effect. Poor Kitty!
