Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

But we were both very drunk, so we went there to drink coffee and visit some more.

You know, between her and Becky I am almost certain that I will be completely nuts by the time they turn 17! LOL!!

Becky and I have little arguments already. Last night, I repeatedly told her not to touch something on the bed and she did it anyway. I scolded her and she turns to me and says "Well, you don't have to be rude about it!" Then I reply "Well, you shouldn't force me to become rude when you refuse to listen to a polite request in the first place." And she shoots back: "Well, everyone makes mistakes!" And I say: "That was no mistake! That was a deliberate act of disobedience." At this pont, Becky rolls her eyes and says: "Mom, I'm just a kid you know. Sometimes I do bad things."

This could go on forever and she's only 5!!! AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!

Hmmmmm.....Norton should work. Are you already paying for McAfee or do you still have your free updates?

I just signed up for the three months the other day...when I had the problem...

I'm pretty sure I'll just delete it and download the Norton. Just getting up my nerve to do it. But the McAfee does this nightly reminder, telling me to sign up for the free subscription every night at 8pm and it irritates me mightily...I already did!

Rose sent me a FReepmail explaining about you being whacked out by your meds. I saw you signing off for the night when I logged in and thought I may be able to catch you.

I got my system to recognize a new drive and it assigned it a letter, E:. The trouble was that I had to set the jumper to "slave". Now it recognizes a drive, but it sees it as a CD-Rom drive, not a DVD drive. I went to Hitachi's website and found what I thought was the driver (for a GD-5000), downloaded it, tried to install it, but for some reason it didn't work.

Any help given will be appreciated. ;^)

For your peace of mind, I did test your disk before sending it. It booted up perfectly, so there really shouldn't be a problem.

If anything does go wrong, I'll just overnight you the original. :)

When Elizabeth was about 3 or 4 Tami was making something on the stove. I remember it had beans in it. Tami puts a serving in front of Elizabeth who starts picking at it.

Tami turns around to finish cooking and Elizabeth says, "What the hell kind of beans are these?"

I almost choked to death trying not to laugh so she wouldn't think she was being funny and keep doing it.

Boy one of the hardest things to do as a parent is scold on the outside while you are dying laughing on the inside.
