Hotdog, as in the food? :-)
Oh no, is it just me, or are those pics not working?
To: maquiladora
Good morning, Maq. Thanks for posting the review.
I don't see the pics, either.
I've seen people kid Hair, since HOTDog sort of matches her screen name.
I wonder if there will be lots of reviews about TT, as there were with FOTR. I'm looking forward to them, if so.

I have saved the pics, I'll see if I can upload them myself in a few minutes, while you are waiting, here's some clips:
"THE TWO TOWERS supasses all levels of expectation, and in the process it makes everything that THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING achieved look tame by comparison."
To describe Gollum - "It's the most impressive use of CGI characterisation ever seen."
To describe Helm's Deep - "Forty-five minutes of monumental action, staggering in every way, from the stunt work to the sheer scale and audacity of what's been attempted."
"Get ready to witness the War of the Ring, because nothing you've ever seen before compares to it. It might be worth ensuring that there are no unpleasant sticky substances on the cinema carpet by your feet, because that's where your jaw is going to be ending up when you get to the siege of Helm's Deep..."
"It's an all-out frontal assault on audiences, leaving them reeling with disbelief at what they're witnessing."
"...just rockets forward, firing on all cylinders with no shred of material you could accuse of being superflouous, let alone boring, on screen."
"Tolkien purists will moan in some quarters - vital bits are missing, sections have been left out for inclusion in the third film. Still, none of this really matters when it comes down to the fact that THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS is a certifiable epic."

Is that a rave review or what! Wow!

"Tolkien purists will moan in some quarters"
Uh-oh....how bad could it be to evoke a 'moan'??
To: NewCenturions
Oh, I think I can guess.
But I don't very much if I will be moaning!
To: Sam Cree
You like my review?

You better ask the King of the FRing Pings!
What a review, eh? They said it makes FOTR look lame, yet that got 13 Oscar nominations, the second-highest in the history of the Oscars! How many is this going to get?
I cannot wait for this movie. I cannot wait!

Well, that was a raving review!
"It's an all-out frontal assault leaving them reeling with disbelief at what they're witnessing...."
Eeeek. Fetch my meds!
Interesting about the quote NC mentioned above...
"Tolkien purists will moan in some quarters - vital bits are missing, sections have been left our for inclusion in the third film, Still, none of this really matters when it comes down to the fact the The Lord of The Rings; The Two Towers is a certifiable epic..."
What I think is interesting is that the writer said "left out" rather than "changed". We knew some stuff (spoiler: Shelob) had been moved to the next movie, and ommissions don't offend as much as changes.
I know one spot that might make some moan, but not me, if it is done the way I think it will be ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
It's a big thumbs up Hair!
My oh my, I just love reading raves like this in major film magazines...I bet it makes the anti-Rings folks' skin crawl!
