Interesting about the quote NC mentioned above...

"Tolkien purists will moan in some quarters - vital bits are missing, sections have been left our for inclusion in the third film, Still, none of this really matters when it comes down to the fact the The Lord of The Rings; The Two Towers is a certifiable epic..."

What I think is interesting is that the writer said "left out" rather than "changed". We knew some stuff (spoiler: Shelob) had been moved to the next movie, and ommissions don't offend as much as changes.

I know one spot that might make some moan, but not me, if it is done the way I think it will be ;~D

My oh my, I just love reading raves like this in major film magazines...I bet it makes the anti-Rings folks' skin crawl!

Return of the King can not possibly be as bad as Return of the Jedi...RotJ was a story made up as they went along. ROTK is already a fantastic classic story that's been around forever.
