Powder..Patch..Ball FIRE!
We went outside at approx 4:30 am and saw a regular parade of shooting stars. Most we saw at one time was 5. Quite a few left long trails. The moon was very bright, a very clear night with temp at 35 degrees.

Even if I pulled my behind outta bed at that time of the morning, we wouldn't have been able to see it. We are fogged in. There is zero visability in some spots. My high schooler is delayed going to school for the second time in three years.

How 'bout that Leonid shower?Yeah. How was it?
The children and I looked forward to going over the mountains and watching
the heavenly spectacle, but it was all cloudy and rainy everywhere.
Tonite, there's a lunar eclipse.
Same weather forecast though.
Bummer.

Leonid shower? Sadly, in western MI we were overcast as has been the case the past three nice meteor showers. Someday.....*sigh*
