Cleburne Memorial - 02 January 1864

s it true that Cleburne had a serious wound that caused him to spit up blood? Prior to the Battle of Franklin, that is.

I have no idea about that wound, but the Cleburne Memorial is his proposal to draft blacks into the army. Gen Johnson shot it down, despite the fact most of Cleburne's senior staff supported the measure.
