I have installed SP1 on two HP desktop machines (an old AMD 350MHz and a fairly new P4 1.8 GHz) and a Sony Vaio laptop. So far, no problems at all.

That's the breaks, sometimes.

Thanks, Ill - Computers are like cars, I suppose....they've become an evil necessity. It would have been ever so nice if HP had spent the couple of bucks and provided a recovery disk to begin with.
