Sat down sunday to write out the bills. when it came to the electric bill we 3 different ones.

The one that was do last week, which was the one we planned to pay. But because it was a couple days late they had also sent out the reminder before cutoff, and that showed $50 more than the bill due last week. So I openned up the bill that is not due until the 22nd of October. That showed zero due.

So I went strolling in there this morning fuly expecting to write out a check for between 150 and 200, but didn't know for how much.

I swear the City has les math and accouning skills than I do - 4 different people, 2 different computers and nearly an hour to get it straightened out.

The bottom line is that I had so overpayed, based on their budget plan calculations I will not owe them any money until at least the end of November!!!

Yippee - I can go shopping this weekend!!!

It was a bonus, that was for sre. and what it tells me is that my scheduled budget payment for this year is going to be a good bit lower than last year.

They prefer sticker shock of their customers in october billing, not giving credits!!!

In past years my closing bill in October has ranged any where from 250 - 400. They still owe me 35!!!!!

she and I have corresponded via email for well over a year, and even though we only live about a half hour from each other Saturday was the first time we actually met. What a marvelous day we had!!!
