I have a hard time even convincing my black friends of this. They are so brainwashed into thinking that all white people are inherently racist, that even the direct evidence exhibited by the white friends (including myself) doesn't seem to counter it.

Honestly, the only time I can remember my dad getting really upset at my angelic older brother was when he said the n-word at dinner.

I hope you're right. Just don't take anything for granted until you have that babe in your arms. Once that happens life is never the same. BTW, dating is a lot different from marriage.
