I'm sorry, but that just wasn't bred into me. I can't, for the life of me, fathom having a problem with who my child dates, simply because of the shade of their skin. I have a hard time even convincing my black friends of this. They are so brainwashed into thinking that all white people are inherently racist, that even the direct evidence exhibited by the white friends (including myself) doesn't seem to counter it.
Honestly, the only time I can remember my dad getting really upset at my angelic older brother was when he said the n-word at dinner.

Unfortunately, in a lot of cases its projection. My best 2 friends from college (they are twins) are black, and they admit that blacks are much more racist then whites. In fact they got a lot of attitude from other blacks for having white friends.

Well, it can't be ignored that there are a number of black parents that have problems with their kids dating whites. Hopefully, time will snuff this out on both sides.
