Sorry, but the SEC is finally playing tough nonconference games outside their region(though Tennessee has done so all along), and they are coming up short. Auburn, Bama, SC, and Florida have gone down, GA not looking impressive at home, Arkansas has one of the most pathetic non-conference schedule in Div. I.

Big East? Miami and VA Tech look good(and actually a good non-conference schedule, about time). Pitt home loss to A&M, Syracuse loss at home to UNC(spanked at home by Texas), everybody else are also rans.

BTW, forgot to mention that Colorado really stunk it up for the Big 12, but Texas Tech had an impressive win against 'Ol Miss. K. State playing their usual pathetic non-conference sched., but Iowa State has looked great. I'd still rank it Pac10, Big 12, SEC, Big 10, ACC, Big East.

I dunno, there's not a whole lot of difference between 2, 3, and 4, but those rankings are pretty good, though you're a bit too harsh in your assessment of the SEC.

Any more days like today for the Big 12 and they'll fall far in a hurry. Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska and Baylor embarrassed the conference in a big way. Even my OSU Cowboys disappointed me today.

Outside of Ohio State, the Big 10 is a very average conference. Michigan is probably a top-20 team. Michigan State proved to be the conference's answer to Colorado today. Wisconsin stinks. Penn State sure looked good against Nebraska, though.

Looks like this may be the year for your 'Horns. But they have a pretty tough 4-game stretch with OU, at K-State, Iowa State, and at Nebraska. Basically it boils down to the Sooners and Wildcats standing between Texas and the Fiesta Bowl.

Nebraska will be lucky to make it to 9-4 this season. ISU, KSU, Okla State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Colorado all appear to be loseable after tonight's miserable performance. Solich probably won't be back for 2003.
