I would doubt very much if the Riccis told everything they knew. You see, I don't believe Richard confessed to the burglaries.
What we have here, at least from the way it looks now, is an inept law enforcement agency. There was a bank robbery back in November, 2001, and they don't get around to charging these three men until 8 months later!

A long time ago when Remington's name first surfaced I'm sure I read LE inverviewed Remington because Ricci gave them his name. I do know Remington told LE Ricci was the bank robber, maybe LE offered him some kind of a deal. I've always wondered if Ricci wasn't implicating Remington in the ES case when he sent LE to him and maybe Remington wasn't in jail night of Jun 5 after all. And I've always wondered if rather than a inept LE agency if they're not an LE agency trying to hide something.

Why is it you have everything wrong in this case?

Are they inept, or are they on a witchhunt, a "rush to judgment?"
The inept law enforcement agency in the bank robbery would be federal law enforcement. The inept law enforcement agency in the theft and burglary cases would be SLC local. Two inept law enforcement agencies. Yup, it's a wonder full-blown anarchy hasn't broken out by now.
