I wish them well too! It really would be nice to have this case solved but then what would we do? :)

I don't understand why Richard Ricci in particular was such a cause celebre for Varina and her friends. And I (and perhaps myy "friends") do not understand why you and your friends continue to target a deceased and uncharged man and his widow with the zeal of the those conducting the Spanish Inquisition.
I also do not understand why you and your friends refuse to discuss other possible avenues in the case that might lead to unearthing a perpetrator or someone who knows who the perpetrator might be.
Don't you get just a little tired of the same old refrain about the Ricci's? Of nothing but hearsay and innuendo in the light of an absence of facts and forensic evidence?
If not, then rave on.

ROFLMAO!!
Less humorous would be, if the NE reported that an attorney named Bella had been last seen sneaking in to search the garage of a former bishop named Spencer Dixon, and hadn't been seen since.
"Silence of the Lambs" time!
To: sandude
The NE has a flair for sensational headlines without much substance in the article so we will have to see. Perhaps it will say that an internet poster who goes by Bella has searched the garage of former Bishop Spencer Dixon and found a copy of Harp Players Annual which proves conclusively that he was the perpetrator. LOL. And a blue, older model SUV. She also peaked through the window and saw his blue green & red tatoo. That Bella does good work!

I'm not recommending the tabloids or anything but there were things they printed in the Chandra Levy case I believed that never came out in the mainstream media.Along with items about Clinton and company.

It does seem to go on and on at times. If you or somebody else could provide something credible to discuss about this case that doesn't involve the Ricci's then we'd all be happy.

So they take it in (not running) on May 30, it is gotten out (running) on May 31.Correction - it was brought in, repaired, Angela called, it was picked up - ALL on May 30. It was never at Moul's overnight until Jun 8 unless Angela is correct and it was one of the other white Jeeps that disappeared from Moul's lot.

BTW, what has happened to scaredkat? Did someone chase her away?

The NE article also said that the FBI informer reported that there was no Ricci DNA in the jeep or the Smart home, and even though he was a career criminal, child abuse or molestation was not on his rap sheet.
Went on to say that Angela passed the lie detector test, but at least one polygraph test taken by a member of the Smart family came up inconclusive.
One person stated that "this case stinks." That either Mary Katherine saw Ricci or she didn't. It's open and shut. The police had the wrong guy. And they better deal with the fact there's someone out there who took Elizabeth!

You said to Sherlock, "I have to ask, do you really know for sure, for certain, more than the Grand Jury about Angela's testimony?"
Now I have to ask you, do you really know for sure, for certain, more than SLCPD and the FBI, about the results of Angela's lie detector test?
And do you really know for sure, for certain, more than the Grand Jury whether Angela simply walked in and took the Fifth, and/or claimed a right not to answer b/c of marital privilege?

LOL! Maybe Chandra's parents will get lucky & find more evidence on Conditt.
As I recall, none of us fought on that thread.

"the FBI informer reported that there was no Ricci DNA in the jeep or the Smart home"
No Ricci DNA in the jeep? I guess that's not too surprising, since apparently just about everyone except Richard Ricci went roaring around in that jeep.
Thanks for the NE summary, anyway. If that's all, I hardly think they should have made its headline "Utah Girl Mystery Solved!" I'm sorry you lost the $2 bucks or so. Next time, do what I do: read it in the checkout line. You get a really annoyed look from the people around you, but you don't feel nearly as disappointed when you're through with the article.

And they better deal with the fact there's someone out there who took Elizabeth! I have been thinking lately that while Ricci was certainly involved he may not have been the man who entered the Smart home. Whoever entered the house needed access (a key) and the layout. Richards refusal to account for the Jeep, the man who picked him up, and his removal of the sear covers certainly looks bad. His wife continuing to lie about the Jeep also doesn't paint a nice picture. I hope we find out soon what LE knows.

I just lurked on that one. But I think Condit was involved in that one. But hey, I've been wrong before in my life!

Got me, Devil. Oh, you're good!
I can tell you, though, that I have not sat up at night, figuring out screwball scenarios to implicate the Riccis, or anyone, for that matter.
A few of my elderly, computerless, neighbors appreciate the printouts...you've all become household names!
