I have seen many here, who, in the heat of the moment, error and receive a time-out. Most, upon reflection, and a cooling down period, return. And ususally these folks often attempt to not make that same error again.

Not only does Registered still have an active account, but it was ENTIRELY his decision to not return. He was even ASKED to return (based on comments on another thread) and he declined.

There is a fine line between genius and crazy. As a matter of utility in both society in general and on FreeRepublic, it is always a good policy to cut just a little more slack for those who have exceptional creative skills but might be just a tad short in the people skills department.

If Registered has his ears on, I welcome his brilliance back. If those that got their knickers in a twist over whatever he did have their ears on, CHILL OUT.
