Thanks for the welcome back. I am doing wonderfully and the pain from the operation is actually less than the pain I have experienced over the last year while working up to the operation. They also provide Wonderful pain meds. I had the operation on 8/27 and returned home from rehab on 9/3.
Now off to outpatient rehab for a few weeks, but I am walking with walker and my range of movement amazes me! The pain will simply go away. I am elated to get my life back.

Thanks for the A+ Mistress Bella. Now I can participate and not just lurk between pain pills.

Glad you are back, wingnuts'nbolts! My dad had the same surgery and now, 3 months later, is healthy, happy, active, and cane and walker free!
