In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

What is a bloody Caesar and beer?
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Beer is beer. Ben Franklin: "Beer is proof that God exists and loves us." You know the stuff. A Bloody Caesar is Clamato Juice with vodka. Mott's Clamato makes a premixed Bloody Caesar up here in Canada (clamato juice with odds and ends including a little bit of thoroughly mushed anchony) to which I add about 3/4 oz. of vodka plus a freshly squeezed lemon, yum!!

P.S. I invented a drink of half clamato juice and half beer which I called a Bloody Doug. Just one is really delicious! But I later found one restaurant in Montreal that had already dreamed it up.

Actually, a good Bloody Caesar has Clamato Juice, vodka, celery salt, tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce and lemon (or lime). I make great ones. You're welcome.

It must be a girl thing.
Got the a bag of cheapo generico Kroger TP the other day ....
Both the 17-year old and SWMBO practically revolted when they used it ....( though I had felt no problem) and demanded I either exchange it or burn it as hazardous waste.
And the Kroger manager, the checkout clerk, and the two ladies in line behind all agreed that they were right.... That I had no choice but to get a "softer roll" ....
Pronto.
So I brought some flowers back too.

Tell 'em you want a Calgary Redeye. I guess I'd better start figuring out dinner, see you later sweetie.

We might just be related cuz, I've had realtives that came here through the North border (Germans and Irish) ...but then again no fabulously wealthy Shaker Heights types. My dad's family was known for building fotrunes then pissing them away within one generation....Oh well.

(Calls for a show of hands from couple of the croquettes....)
