Morning everyone, Here's a photo of some "schoolin'" I did in Asia. As you can see, when I taught English - we actually spoke it in class. (Not like today's public education programs for ESL in which the kid's never seem to learn English.) I am featured on today's FR's Finest thread, so come over and visit! :)

Was rummaging through a file folder and came across this refrence. Just in case someone might be in the mood to have some chemistry fun today: MAKE SLIME!!!

Interesting information about polymers and liquid crystals can be had at Case Western University's Virtual Textbook. Their usta-be-really-cool virtual labs seem to be down. :(

I have always loved history and thought I knew a lot until I met Linda. She's been so good for my trivial pursuit answer gathering. LOL I just read George Washington's World. I checked it out for my daughter, but I ended up reading it. I loved every word of it. Now I'm reading another one of her books she will use as part of her science curriculum called The History of Medicene. It's fascinating.

Congratulations on your special day. I taught ESL in Ankara, Turkey and will forever remember my sweet, eager students. It was a wonderful experience. I'm working on teaching my Vietnamese neighbor some English now. It's going to be a challenge, but I greatly look forward to it.
