Then you'll want Windows 2000 Pro. It's really NT 5.0. Very stable, and Bill Gates will not be peering out of your computer everytime you activate it!
That's about what I'm looking at. 2000 Pro would be quite useful, especially if I decide to network. This machine I'm using now can stay Win-98SE as it has served me well in that configuration.
