Even pirate ships need to have a brig IMO.

Nay, lassie, on pirate ships it's either lashes or the plank. No puttin' behind bars for a free spirited pirate crew.
You just want to give them something to think about or do away with 'em for good, not break their spirit!

The brig is for dem rats, not for our pirate brothers. Walking one dem rat down the plank per week is doable IMO.
