(If I recall correctly, John Roseboro caught Koufax's 1963 and 1964 no-hit, no-run games against the Giants and the Phillies, with Norm Sherry - credited with giving Koufax the advice ["Sandy, you throw harder not trying than you do when you are trying to throw hard"] that turned him into a human howitzer - catching his 1962 no-hitter against the Mets and rookie Jeff Torborg, spelling Roseboro for a day, catching Koufax's 1965 perfect game against the Cubs.)
