Roseboro's actual Baseball Library entry.

"It was as if only one mind was involved." - Tim McCarver, on the rapport between Roseboro and Sandy Koufax during a game. (If I recall correctly, John Roseboro caught Koufax's 1963 and 1964 no-hit, no-run games against the Giants and the Phillies, with Norm Sherry - credited with giving Koufax the advice ["Sandy, you throw harder not trying than you do when you are trying to throw hard"] that turned him into a human howitzer - catching his 1962 no-hitter against the Mets and rookie Jeff Torborg, spelling Roseboro for a day, catching Koufax's 1965 perfect game against the Cubs.)

Thanks BD. I didn't even remember Roseboro. I guess I was too busy playing ball my own self in those days. Yes, he was a class act.
