here are the questions :
Ricci was seen by his wife and that crazy Thurber guy the morning of the kidnapping about 8am minimally....if Ricci is the perp and did something with Lizzie and if the timetable that the cops say is true.
... well, that means Ricci from between 1:30 am and 8:00 am took Lizzie, drove her somewhere, buried her after killing her, then got home to be fussing under the trailor for Thumper Thurber to see him.....that in 6 1/2 hours?
My thought is that the timeline is very wrong....that perhaps the kidnapping took place much later than that....remember the squealing tires?.....and that Ricci's wife says they were awake early for the tv news...so the window might be only from 2:30 to 6:30 or so....not enough time to hide a body very far...(close enough to hand a girl off though)...the wife has passed a poly and I assume that Thurber has too....so I tend to believe the 4 hour window is true....the window of opportunity for Ricci was small..
. That having been said.....if Ricci took LIzzie....he could have hidden her very close in....very close to town..or he could have handed her off...( in which case the 1000 miles on his jeep are a decoy?)...and of course,, he could have just not done it period....
. he was under surveillance of some kind wasn't he...after cops came and talked to him?..at least we know the cops talked to him early on...I think the 6th...and they had to have had him in the back of their mind...could Ricci have sneaked off and put 1000 miles on his jeep despite being at work, talking to the police, etc?....and could he have done that with a body in the back of the jeep...or could he have done that if he had to go pick a body up and transfer the body to his jeep...???
I don't think these supposed 1000 miles are significant unless someone can tell me how Ricci did it.....how did he kidnap , kill, drive, and bury in that short a time frame?
NOthing makes sense...
I do believe the cops have the information....just that they are playing their cards to their advantage....don't know if its Ricci or not.....
I do think there is a lot of distortion of facts both from Ricci and his wife and from the cops....
I would love to know if the cops saw the jeep the morning they questioned Ricci? surely, there has to be a witness somewhere that saw that jeep...
But its a mighty tall tale for Ricci to do all that he is accused of in that jeep....
I agree. I think the police know a LOT more than they are making public. Remember Dinse making the statement that they had gotten "a tremendous amount of information" from Mary Katherine? As I recall, he went on to say something to the effect that when this is resolved, it will be largely due to the information that Mary Katherine has provided. Regardless of what the police are saying publicly about Mary Katherine's story, I think much has been told that we don't know.
As Neenah said the other day, "Mary Katherine is the key."
I agree with your assumption that the abduction probably happened later than assumed. However, he still had enough time. On Monday, this week, I drove from SLC down to Spanish Fork, up over Soldier Summit and down into Price. I didn't time it precisely, but estimate it took more than 90 minutes, but less than 2 hours. Note that the police have requested the public's assistance in searching Carbon and Emory counties. Why is this significant? Because Ricci is known to have hung out in that area, hunted there AND that canyon is full of white mud and pine trees. - especially as you get closer to Price.
In other words, it's entirely possible for Ricci to have driven down there, buried a body, and returned home in less than 4-1/2 hours.
Having said that, I don't think that is what he did. I believe he stashed her in the jeep in some secret location and took care of the other details between June 6th & June 8th, when the jeep was missing.
