You make sense to me, IamHD!
Now I'm thinking that the 'kidnapper' may have driven up the driveway and taken off from there. Smart's have a steep drive. If you pulled in, didn't slam your door, killed the lights in the vehicle, inside and out, you could make a faster exit. Also, those Bloodhounds stopped at the bushes. I just read the other day, where Bloodhounds had stopped at a point where the perp entered a vehicle.
If the vehicle was a stick shift, you could coast down that driveway and down the street, before you popped the clutch and restarted the motor. Kind of a quiet and quick get-away.
The would explain the dogs stopping at the bushes. Seems like, after 4 or 5 hours, there should still be a scent for the dogs. Maybe all the visitors confused them?

Okay, we know that lie-detector tests are not permissable in court, but, what does it take to pass or fail on a test? Somebody posted a while back about these tests, but I can't remember the poster's name. Would you have to be a sociopath to pass one? Or, a liar that lies so much that they believe their own lies, and can pass one? What does it take to fail one, less the stress aspect.

Can't remember who posted on lie detector tests.
You just reminded me, though, I once worked with someone who had taken more than one test - he took Valium beforehand to handle the stress.
The police knew he was guilty, so it didn't do him any good at all.

Interesting! I had to take one once, myself. I found my aunt murdered, and they wanted to eliminate family, so I obliged...plus finger-prints. Of course, I passed. I feel that if you have nothing to hide, it can't hurt.

The police never told us if he passed or not. Nothing was in the newspaper after he went to jail.

That's right folks, I think the police are in on this coverup. Here is the real shocker.......many SLC police officers I have discovered have connections to the Russian mob. This is no coicidence... You are a little late to the party on this one. The All Conspiracy All The Time folks on this thread are way ahead of you on this one.
