I've followed your recent posts on this.
I'll go with those who don't think the prosecution has proved its case against Westerfield.
He's a weird dude, but so is everybody else in this.
The bug evidence bothers me, and I still don't see how he could how gotten in and out of that house with the girl.
Also, I think the cops were under tremendous pressure to arrest someone. He was nearby, and he didn't look all that innocent. So maybe they bagged him.
But what with all the other unnamed weirdos who had been coming and going from that house -- and he'd apparently never been in it himself -- I'm not so sure they've got the right guy here.
I think he has reasonable doubt on this.

I'm tough as a juror and voted for the death penalty once, but I would be hard pressed to vote guilty in this case. I think it is a lot more likely that this guy was framed than OJ was framed, for example. The police had to arrest someone--tremendous pressure was on. With all the comings and goings of weird people in that house, it could have been anybody. And, I think it is more than a coincidence that the mother and Westerfield danced at a club that night. Smells awfully fishy to me. I feel deep down that the parents were involved.

"He's a weird dude" No he is not. His neighbors, business associates, friends, and even his own son's testimony in the trial have made nothing more clear than that David Westerfield is a normal and decent man of his place and time.
The weirdness you have in your mind about him comes from the media and DA's Office spin. An amazingly harsh spin, but it evaporates as one studies the facts and reliability and consistency of testimony.
