The SaveDave groupies - who write billets-a-deux to poor Davie in their off time - drive off everyone (with 4 exceptions!) who dares come on these threads who doesn't share their opinion.
Have you noticed how many of the people on UCANSEE2's ping list never come onto these threads?
Have you noticed that those who just registered last week - and have never posted to anything but DW threads - are welcome with open arms - but those of us who dare disagree with the prevailing winds are accused of being DU trolls, even if we've been freepers for years?

It's no wonder we've been moved to "chat" - the wonder is that JR hasn't shut us down entirely.

Do you belive Dusak is going into anus as access because it is tighter? That is incorrect, after death the mucules of the anus relax and therefore would be an opening for flies. That is why witness said something about the spheinter(sp?) mucule but Dusak stopped him.

To catch you up, the above statement was only one of many Dusak has trieid to twist to his liking. He is asking the questions in a way that the witness has no choice but to answer one way to (even though by doing so implies/infers something totally incorrect) which is why the witness is balking and may seem to be dodging the question.
The witness should probably try answering as Dusak is insisting (hard as that might be) and trust Feldman to redirect and expose Dusak's attempt at dumbing down the jury.

We need to consider whether the body was laid down near the tree and drug to it, or whether the DRAG MARKS and the clumps of hair along a trail leading back to the NORTH (I believe) are correct.

Not familiar with the distance involved but my assumption was that any dragging would have been from pulling the orange blanket out from under her.

I also would put more weight on her being dumped within 24 hours of her abduction certainly not 12 days. Further, no signs on the body that it was eslwhere.

So no matter who did it, I find the bug guy's dates problematic.

(1) I believe he is trying to do what lawyers always do, discredit the witness.

(2)OTOH, he can use technique #2 which is bore the jury until they decide to ignore everything they heard (prosec. and def. questions) from the witness.

My problem with this science is its reliance on averages. I apply averages in order to project/predict financial data without looking at other factors that might affect the ultimate calculations as only a last resort.

How long would the body have to be stored somewhere unavailable to bugs for it to get rid of that moisture so the bugs didn't attack the 'anus' once it was left out under a tree ?

I am on UCANSEE2's ping list and I DO come to the threads everyday. I just don't usually post much. I also have BIG doubts that Westerfield committed this crime. IMO, the prosecution has not proven DW's guilt. In fact, after watching the trial testimony since day one, I am even more convinced that DW is most likely innocent.

I think you are correct that he doesn't understand the concept. However I doubt that median would ever be a factor in his calculations. I was surprised when Goff said that he took each day's high and low and computed a "median". This whole thing may stem from the fact that Goff doesn't understand the difference either.
