I keep losing the feed today. Missing most of the testimony.
Dusek giving testimony again, huh?
:)
Question: if the moisture were absent, where did it go?
WHen?
How long would the body have to be stored somewhere unavailable to bugs for it to get rid of that moisture so the bugs didn't attack the 'anus' once it was left out under a tree ?
The way I understood this line of questioning was after he had established (or attempted to) that the flies had not entered/laid eggs in head region, he then said, "and common areas of access are eyes, nosa, vaginal areas." Then he says something to the effect of, "but the anus would be tight wouldn't it and flies would not be able to access that region." When witness balked, Dusak again stated that anus as compared to ears and mouth would not be as open and would be tight as in skin touching skin. The witness was not allowed to explain how mucles relax so witness just said that the flies would get in period.
At this point Dusak does another 360 degree flip and says but with moisture absent flies would not have crawled thru anus. Witness, I belive, agreed to this because if moisture WERE absent flies would not have crawled in.
This is how I heard this exchange, it is by no means exact.
