Hi Lyra. This thread has kind of withered away. But there is a great deal of LOTR (particularly TTT) action in the Hobbit Hole, which you can find at this link:

It's a more general chat site here at FR for LOTR fans, but a lot of pretty serious discussion about the books and movies occurs as well.

There is also a "Ring Ping" list for Tolkien and LOTR articles that is kept by Ecurbh, and you can get on the list by freepmailing him or HairOfTheDog. There are some really excellent (and even scholarly) articles posted on FR regularly.
