I'm sure this has been debated before...and I'm in no way up for a debate this evening, but what kind of people put $100,000 insurance on their child? I've heard of $5,000 (for burial costs, God forbid)...but $100k?

$100 K seems a little steep to me also. Darlie Routier, who's sitting on TX death row for stabbing her two little boys to death, only did it for $5,000.

I don't believe there is any substantiation for the story about $100,000 life insurance. Perhaps there is some kind of verification and someone could post it?

I don't know, and I don't even know if the Van Dam's did have that much or not. I said it was rumor and had not been proven by anyone.
