Now, the golden question: how many of us think it's any of the government's business?Exactly. Before I'd condemn the woman I'd like to see proof that she's harming the kid, and psychobabble won't cut it. IMHO the greatest damage being done to that kid is the prosecution and the attendant publicity.

Bingo! I was wondering when someone would finally get to the real problem here -- CPS. Too many government agencies are getting involved in telling people how they are "allowed" to raise their children... from the number of vaccines they must receive to the ADD drugs they must take in schools...
I see kids with parents who are unfit, druggies and alcoholics and CPS turns their back and they go after someone like this mother because they don't approve of what she is doing.
