I totally agree on that. My two weaned themselves by around a year, they just weren't interested anymore. My sister nursed my nephew till around 3 or 4 and my mom and I were a little weirded out by it, but we kept our mouths shut. My son is nine, and he's just getting modest around me. I feel sorry for that little boy. This woman sounds like those breast feeding zealots who'd nurse their kids till they walked down the aisle !!

I saw the Good Morning America story with this woman and her son yesterday. The woman IS NOT producing milk and hasn't for years. They showed video of the son running into his mother's room, jumping on the bed, and pulling up his mother's shirt to suckle. ( remember, there is NO MILK, he is NOT breastfeeding).

I must say it looked like kiddie porn to me. I couldn't believe that it was on television.
