To: homeschool mama
I'm not a mother so I don't know, but I heard breast feeding is healthier for the baby, that's all I'm saying. I'm no expert on babies that's for sure. Glad to hear your daughter is a healthy youngster.

I would agree that breastfeeding is best, MG. There are cases where a woman, for medical reasons, cannot breastfeed. And other cases where the desire to breastfeed isn't there.

I was in the medical category, taking heavy meds for seizures and related difficulties. Our daughter was born early and her stomach lining wasn't fully developed so regular formula was a no-no. Thankfully we were able to find a wonderful formula called Nutramigen...$$$ but closest to breast milk they say. Our next step was perscription formula if the Nutramigen didn't work.

I'm so very thankful that at 12 she's healthy. :o)
