ha ha ha ha ha....I just remembered....***I slept most of the way***.....when I wasn't reading my Lady & the Tramp funny book.....or asking Dad to stop EVERY time I spied a gas station. LOL
....I got so thrilled & excited the closer we got to the beach......
...that as soon as we saw it, I begged him to let me out of the car, so I could stick my toes in the ocean.
...LOL, well, halfway across the sand as I was running, I got a footfull of cockleburrs!!!
OUCH!!!
....It seemed EVERY night, Dad spent pulling cockleburr splinters out of my feet....:)))
Napped the whole time.......:-)
