Why Was That Deleted?

Re: Men vs. Women post of a few minutes ago.
This was generating a huge response, which seems to indicate that it was an important topic.
Why isn't the reasoning for deletions made clear so that we know the ground rules better and can try and persuade the moderators when they seem to error?

I tried that once; never got an answer...
If it's really troubling you then you can email Mr. Robinson personally. His address is on the front page.
He won't necessarily agree with you but at least you will know why a particular thread was pulled.
I do know that he has asked in the past not to post a thread to complain about a thread being pulled. (which I have done.. idiot that I am..)

There is a current thread today that is discussing the evils of women. When a woman posts, she is attacked. That's not true and you know it. 95% of the posters on that thread are in agreement. The other five percent (and there are men among them) are being challenged. There is not a shred of misogyny on that thread, but I sure saw a lot of male bashing .

If you want to know why a thread was deleted, then freepmail the moderators rather than start another thread. I've pinged them into this one to see if we can get your question answered...

This is all new to me, I've only been contributing for a couple of days. It seemed like a logical question.Sorry about being a butthead
I'll seen these type posts lot's of times. Normally they are just have their panties in a knot because getting a thread pulled is sort of a slap on the wrist.
Some people actually think the first amendment applies here
Welcome aboard.

that is discussing the evils of women That thread discusses the evils of a corrupt, immoral and unconstitutional domestic court system. I say again: It does not bash women.
To: Jhoffa_
It wasn't all that important to me, but I really think that moderators ought to e-mail the poster whose post got deleted to explain why. Mine was simply a post defending myself against some other apparently angry freeper. The moderator took the liberty of deleting both my reply and the offensive post.

I respectfully disagree. That thread is Misogyny Central.

sorry, gotta say it: nothing like some hair of the dog....
To: JZoback
Try asking via email rather than whining about in the openIn other words, hide rather than have the courage to state your questions openly? Very nice.

don't go out there (see post #15 from Jhoffa)

In other words, hide rather than have the courage to state your questions openly? Very nice. It's more that this can be handled via freepmail rather than having a vanity thread started to clutter up the works. What if everyone who had a thread or comment deleted started their own thread to complain?
