I am not a lawyer but I think the only way a prenup is really a prenup and cannot be broken is if there is complete financial disclosure and the woman is paid a portion thereof prior to marriage. In essence, she has already gotten hers. I don't think however, that would protect the man in a divorce who has a prenup from having to support the children of the marriage as a seperate issue.

I think that normally a pre-nup will not cover common assets after the marriage. And, of course, any children born of the marriage would still have to be supported in the event of divorce.
