claque \KLACK\, noun:
claques; plural
1. A group hired to applaud at a performance.
2. A group of fawning admirers.

This little item explains why the D.C. police force undoubtedly has such a large claque among the criminal element: Ramsey and friends have not only lowered the department's goal for solving homicides this year to a mere 50%, they are--please put your cup of coffee down before you read any further--
