Can anybody open the Smokers' Lounge this Friday?
I will be at my mothers with no internet access.
My Grandfather went into the hospital yesterday and my brother says he is not doing well so I'm going down for four days over the 4th of July.

Joe, I can open it for you. I'm not great at starting threads, but I'm sure Cyber will help.

I hope your grandfather will be okay.

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather.

I gladly volunteer to open and tend bar for at least the first few hours --- I'll even use your standard html and graphics. You probably should assign someone though so we don't post duplicate threads.

You might want to bring a couple extra smokes when you visit your grandpops. After a lot of pleading (and against my better judgement) I snuck a few to my dad when he was in the hospital after a heart attack -- and I can't tell you how happy it made him. I'll swear on a stack of Bibles is sped up his recovery.

Slip18 has graciously accepted the task of opening the Lounge this Friday (with CyberLiberty's help).
I believe that maybe kcpopps will be helping to entertain with libations.

Many thanks for the well wishes for my Grandfather.

If I don't talk to you all before I leave for the weekend then I'll talk to you next week.

I'm sorry about your Grandpa, dear Joe. I hope everything turns out okay. Tiger and I had to change our vacation plans for the long Independence Day weekend...not because of any illness, thank God, just car trouble. Still, I'll be thinking of you and your Grandpa while hanging out at the Ford dealer's. LOLuv, .30
