"can you die from inhaling ammonia fumes?

It's more fun to try mixing ammonia and chlorox in a small room ..... 8<)

But if you're really hard up, try carbon monoxide gas to loosen the nerves and quiet you down.

Well I reckon if you got too much of it that any O2 was displaced too bad, chickie... You ain't supposed to mix ammonia and chlorine products, I remember that from chem class... Sounds like yer still standing though, I wouldn't worry about it. Drink lots o beer. Any thoughts, doc?

"It is absurd to think the avidity to denounce the 9th Circuit Court's ruling on the Pledge of Allegiance by Hillary Clinton was not political grandstanding on her part, for deep in her mind and heart she believes the ruling was correct, IMO."

Zon, I'd extend your comment to include all of the members of the left who got face time beating their breasts over this abominable decision. I'm confident Daschle and Lieberman were applauding and smiling on the inside.

"hey max, speaking of toxic poisonings, can you die from inhaling ammonia fumes? i was in close quarters in the mud room yesterday, cleaning out xspup's disgusting cage and poured a bunch of ammonia on it, and thought was going to asphyiate myself."

I don't know about ammomia fumes, XS, but when I was on an overseas assignment, I was cleaning a newly leased apartment in anticipation of the arrival of my wife. The toilet bowl had lime build-up and some rust spots, so I poured a gallon of ammonia into the bowl and determined that bleach is also used for whitening. I poured a gallon of bleach on top of the ammonia.

A white smoke cloud arose from the bowl, I took one breath and my eyes did the old Linda Blair head-spin trick from "The Exorcist". I literally ran out of the apartment to get air.

I wrote my response to XS's question about ammonia fumes before I read your post 121. I think I was one lucky guy the day I mixed ammonia and Clorox bleach (within the confines of a small bathroom)!

Mark Steyn on the lack of avidity at G-8 at Kananaskis. Kananaskis is a beautiful valley between two sets of mountains near the western edge of the Alberta Rockies. There's only one road passing through it, so access is easily controlled, which is why the anti-globs aren't there bitching and whining.
