AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 523) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 28, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 06/28/2002 4:31:39 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Before the news, would all members of the class, particularly those who live in those states served by the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals, stand and join in saying - loud enough so even those thick-skulled "Justices" on the "Ninth Circus Court" can hear you - the Pledge:

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE
TO THE FLAG
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC
FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
ONE NATION
UNDER GOD
WITH LIBERTY,
AND JUSTICE,
FOR ALL

As Rush has often admonished his listeners, the following is somewhat distrubing, and you may want to scroll down past this.

You have been warned...

For anyone who doesn't believe what the Palestinians are teaching their youth isn't a religion of death, the Israeli Defense Force released the following photograph of an infant found in the Hebron home of a Palestinian man wanted by Israelis:

[Credit to Reuters.]

An explosion, belived by many to be the work of Al Qa'eda and the Talibums, in a munitions store in southern Afghanistan, killed five and started a fire in a UN food center.

A major battle is underway in the Philippines against a guerrilla group associated with Al Qa'eda.

Two men who were part of Iran's delegation to the UN, and who were in this country for only about four months, were expelled after being seen videotaping such things as the Holland Tunnel, Brooklyn Bridge, and other landmarks.

A Muslim lady in Florida is suing the state saying she does not want a photo of her on her driver's license not wearing a veil. Prior to September 11, she was allowed to have a photo wearing the veil, but after that date, the Florida authorities insisted she (and presumably others) replace it with one showing her visage as a matter of public security.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

...and drinking mint juleps on the front porch while reading Gone With the Wind. Hehehe

If I wasn't married...

Do you hunt and fish?

You tug at my heart strings.

Thread killer.

Your sentence is to spend six weeks with algore and daschole at Reaganomics bed and breakfast without being able to leave.

Sheesh. I'm sorry.

Yep, happily, very happily. And Mr HOB just watched the movie with me last Sunday night. He really enjoyed it... The mint juleps would probably be replaced with iced tea made the Maryland way with lotsa sugar... and of course, eaten with steamed crabs and "shrimps"!

DallasGal, thanks for the link, I'm going to read it now!

>>The judge for the decision on the Pledge was a "strict constructionist"

The libs are in damage control mode with the Pledge and Cleveland voucher decisions.

You sound like my best friend. A few years back she and hubby packed up lock, stock, and barrel to move to the south. They lasted 3 weeks before moving home. Couldn't stand being called "Yank"

I've lived in TX 25 of my 35 years. I'm not native Texan, but pretty darn close...and I tend to call people Yankee as well :)

It was so funny on my cruise a couple weekends ago. The dining crew is completely international. Many from Turkey. As soon as they found out my friend and I were from Texas, they kept asking me if I owned a horse and gun. The stereotype irks me from time to time...so I say, yes and I can hit a bulls eye while at full gallop. Hehe

More damage control...... THAT WOULD REQUIRE a sea change in public opinion; polls show that Americans remain skeptical, if not hostile, toward vouchers.

A little denial?

OK, so why do I feel it necessary to try this...again?

Us males are such an insecure bunch.
